Taking Lindsey's senior photos was a breeze. Not only is she a beauty, but she's also a natural in front of the camera. M and little K

Hi everyone! I have been busy, busy, busy, editing photos to get caught up from being on vacation, and trying to get ahead for the busy fall season. Thanks for being patient for all of your previews!

Meet 'M' and her sweet little boy, 'K.' M was my son's preschool teacher last year, and what a fun teacher she is. And an equally fun mom! The love and pure joy that exists between this mother and son is so very evident. Spending time with them put a smile on my face that lasted through the rest of the evening.

M: You are such a great mother! Your gentle hand and kind heart will surely raise a wonderful young man. And K: Keep moving little man! Those little legs are meant to explore the world!

I love this next photo pair. A mother showing her son the beauty and wonderment that can be found in what some may deem a simple weed, but a child sees as a treasure. Thought I'd include one of my favorite quotes from Thomas Edison that is so fitting for M and K: "If parents pass enthusiasm along to their children, they will leave them an estate of incalculable value." So true in this all too apathetic world.

The Rogers Family

A few weeks back I got to take not only beautiful Devin's senior photos, but I also had the priviledge of getting a few shots of her whole family. The Rogers used to live close by, but now moved to North Carolina. With their son attending college in Iowa, it's not often that they all get together, so I was honored to capture a few family shots of my friends. You are all beautiful, inside and out. North Carolina Senior - Devin R.

Welcome beautiful Devin R. to the blog. Devin is the daughter of a good friend of mine, a friend I used to sing with all the time in church until they moved away. I was so happy when they asked me to take Devin's senior photos when they came back to visit this summer. Devin is beautiful, inside and out, and has such great style. I adored all of her outfit and jewelry choices. And, she's just a joy to be around. Oh, and her hair. It's naturally curly, and oh so lovely! Devin, you are blessed girl!

CPU Senior - Abbie M.

We're having senior fever here at Sanders Photography & Design Blog. Here's the first of several senior photo previews in the weeks to come.

Abbie is a senior at CPU and was such a joy to photograph. So sweet and kind, just like her mom, Lisa. And they didn't even make fun of me when I screamed as a snake made it's appearance by the railroad tracks during our session. Talk about embarrassing!

Reid & Hugh

I recently got to meet up with some returning clients. You may remember Reid's newborn shoot {click here to see Reid just a few weeks old.} Well Reid has grown a lot since February! He's a regular little man now, and oh so cute! Love his little rolls in all the right places! And I think he kinda likes me to, if his winking at me was any indication. Ha!



And then there's big brother Hugh, such a little charmer. And what a great personality!
