Kait Emerson Designs

I am officially an awful blogger! When the fall busy season hit, I could not keep up with the work load and although my facebook fan page previews remained fairly steady, the blog took a hit! Ok, more than a hit...no posts since October!!

Well, Spring is here and what better way to welcome it in than with some photos from a couple of new Kait Emerson 2012 Spring Designs!

We have been a fan of Kait Emerson designs for a LONG time. Her designs are fresh, yet classic. And just plain beautiful. Here's the Spring Tiered Peasant Dress...

And the beautiful new Charming Knit Dress in Coral...

Both are available now at Kait Emerson Designs. You can browse through all of the other lovely fashions while at the shop! I promise you won't be disappointed!

Chistmas Card Designs 2011

So it appears the blog has suffered a dry spell the past month. But believe me, the lack of blog posts did not equal a lack of sessions. With an average of 4 to 5 sessions per week, I have been swamped and the blog has suffered as a result. I have done pretty well keeping up with client previews on the facebook fanpage, so you can always check them out here.

But, let me get to the purpose of this particular blog post: Christmas! Christmas, you ask? But it's only October, not even Halloween yet! Well, my love of Christmas coupled with my clients' apparent love of Christmas has prompted an early release of Christmas card designs this year. Not one week has gone by the last month where I haven't been asked about this year's card designs, so here they are!

And to give you even more choices (or make it even harder for you to choose if you're like me!) I'm again offering last years' designs.

The Peace and Love Collection...

And the Black and Bright Collection...

All designs are 5x7 two-sided flat cards. They are press printed on linen paper and include envelopes of course! Please contact me at JaSanders@fmtcs.com for pricing.

If you got your photos taken by me this past year and would like to order Christmas cards, choose your design, the photos you'd like to utilize, and we'll get some custom one-of-a-kind Christmas cards ordered for you!

All I need to know is what collection and design number you want {example: Peace And Love, design #3} and what photos from your session you wish to use. Or if you'd like help deciding, let me know and I can give you my opinion too!

Tis the season to start ordering your Christmas cards from Sanders Photography And Design. Don't wait til' it's too late!

2012 Vinton-Shellsburg Senior: Trevor B.

Welcome yet another senior to the blog. Did I mention I've been photographing a lot of seniors lately? And I'm loving it! I still love photographing the younger kiddos, don't get me wrong. Seniors just bring a whole different energy to the session, with ideas of what they want to incorporate and an excitement (hopefully excitement and not dread!) for the school year to come. So many adventures and life experiences await them, and it's neat to be a small part of that time in their lives.

I'm up to my eyebrows in sessions waiting for sneak peeks, so make sure to check in regularly with the blog. You might see someone you know!

2012 Prairie Senior: Sydney L.

Are you noticing a trend on the blog? Yes, it's senior fever! Here's another gorgeous senior I had the pleasure of photographing. I really don't think I could capture an unflattering photo of Miss Sydney if I tried! (...not that I would try.) Enjoy your preview, Sydney! So many more images await.

And just one more of Sydney's cute sisters, who along with Sydney's mom, came along for the session...

Noah and Lilah commercial shoot featuring Cooper, Chloe and Gavin

Two of my other kiddos, Cooper and Gavin, got to join their sister, Chloe, in the modeling fun for this session. (I have four kiddos total, and this shoot incoporates all but my oldest, Gabe.)

Noah and Lilah makes some of the most adorable children's fashions, including these selections from the 2011 Halloween line. My kids were seriously giddy when I showed them what they would be wearing for this shoot. Cooper in particular, who is a big Batman fan, loves his new bat shirt. Thank you Noah and Lilah for making my kiddos' day!

You can find these and so many other precious designs at Noah and Lilah's etsy shop. And make sure to become a fan on facebook

2012 Carlisle senior: Ashely B.

Meet Ashely, who is not only another beautiful senior gracing the blog. She's also my niece!

Thanks for being patient with me as you waited for this sneak peek, Ash! I had such a great time taking your pictures, and hope for you to come visit us soon. Many more images to come!
